About the role

We’re a results-driven agency, known for delivering meaningful, measurable growth for brands across a range of industries. With a team built on deep expertise and a focus on long-term client relationships, we’re now looking for a Klaviyo Strategist to take a senior position within our Klaviyo team.

You will own strategy and delivery for a portfolio of our most complex, high-value client accounts. You’ll set the strategic direction for retention marketing and identify growth opportunities across the full customer lifecycle, then execute required actions.

You’ll be a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders, commercially sharp and capable of translating business objectives into impactful Klaviyo programmes.

Critically, you need to be able to hit the ground running. This isn’t a role for someone still building their Klaviyo knowledge. We need a practitioner who can walk into a high-profile account, quickly diagnose what’s working and what isn’t, and start driving results from day one.

Climb & Conquer, Shane & Vicky

The ideal candidate has proven experience leading retention-led email and SMS strategies at a high level and understands what it takes to grow eCommerce brands through lifecycle marketing.

They are calm under pressure, structured in how they work and driven by clear commercial outcomes. They can lead client conversations with confidence, communicate strategy with clarity and break down performance in a way that is simple, honest and actionable.

They understand Klaviyo in depth. Flows, segmentation, campaign planning, SMS, A/B testing, deliverability, list health and the commercial thinking behind it. They can quickly audit an account, identify what’s working and what isn’t, and prioritise the actions that will drive the most impact.

They bring a strong analytical mindset, using data to uncover insight and guide decision-making. They are highly organised, self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguity, taking ownership of complex, high-value accounts.

Above all, they are commercially sharp. They understand revenue, margins and the role retention plays in long-term growth, acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders and translating business objectives into effective Klaviyo strategies.

You will lead high-value Klaviyo accounts with the backing of a specialist retention team. You will work closely with the Klaviyo Team Lead and have a direct influence on how we evolve strategy, processes and overall client performance.

You will work with brands that give you the space to think commercially as well as technically, shaping lifecycle strategies that directly impact revenue and long-term growth.

We take development seriously. Regular training, strategic reviews and performance conversations are built into how we operate, so you can improve without feeling stretched too thin. You will get a new Mac or Windows laptop, full access to the tools you need and a clear path to grow within the team.

We build long-term client relationships through strong communication, clear reporting and results that hold up. If you want to shape how high-level retention marketing is delivered through Klaviyo, this role is a strong fit.

WORKING AT CLIMB&CONQUER

We create an environment whereby we care more about the outcomes of our campaigns than our client – we’re also best positioned to deliver these results against their internal team and other agencies.

We achieve this through selecting talent UK-wide, not doing contracts and expert-led training which is fluid to requirements.

There are hundreds of micro factors that we incorporate which many other agencies don’t, that gives us a really good advantage.

Chris Ellis - Climb & Conquer
