Climb & Conquer is proud to have been shortlisted in the Job Creation category at the prestigious VelociTees Awards, recognising some of the fastest-growing businesses across the Tees Valley.
While we didn’t take home the award on the day, we were proud to finish within the top three businesses in our category and to be recognised within the top five companies in the region for overall staff growth – a reflection of the progress the business has made over the last 12 months.
Over the past year, Climb & Conquer has seen significant growth, with team expansion of over 90% alongside almost 100% growth in turnover, driven by strong client partnerships and a continued focus on delivering results.
Building our roots in Teesside
As a relative newcomer to the region, opening our Teesside office in November, the impact and welcome we’ve received has been incredible.
Our founder, Shane Parkins, said:
“We’re still very new to Teesside, having only opened our office here in November, but already we’ve had the opportunity to help several local businesses grow.
Working alongside companies such as Elite Energy, who won the turnover award on the day and supporting other local companies like JT Atkinson.
We’ve also brought national and international brands into the area as clients, including Kingston, a £12bn US tech company.
We’re excited about continuing to build our presence and develop strong roots in Teesside over the coming year.”
The momentum continues, with Climb & Conquer also shortlisted in the Tees Business Awards for Small Business of the Year, sponsored by Tees Valley Combined Authority.
Finalists:
- Climb & Conquer
- GLC Projects
- Logic-i Group
- Southern Asset Management
- Tanglewood Games
Being recognised alongside established and respected regional businesses is an important milestone for our team. As a business still early in its Teesside journey, this recognition reflects both the pace of our growth and the impact we’re already making across the region.
Over a relatively short period, we’ve expanded our local presence, supported ambitious Teesside businesses in scaling their growth and brought new national and international opportunities into the area. Recognition like this reinforces our belief that Teesside is a region with huge potential and we’re proud to be building something long-term here.
For us, this isn’t about a single award or moment. It’s about continuing to establish Climb & Conquer as a trusted growth partner for businesses across the North East and beyond, while creating opportunities, jobs and measurable results as we scale.
