Offering one of the widest ranges of hedging in the UK, from bare root and root ball through to pot grown and instant hedging, the opportunity was clear.

Google Ads was driving volume, but there was a clear opportunity to improve return, refine targeting and better align campaigns with high-intent searches and key seasonal demand periods. The objective was to turn Google Ads into a more efficient, revenue-focused channel that could scale profitably.

We restructured campaigns around intent, prioritising high-performing product categories such as bare root hedging, root ball and evergreen ranges.

Budget was reallocated towards campaigns and timeframes delivering the strongest commercial return, with a focus on aligning search demand with product availability and seasonality.

Ongoing optimisation centred on improving ad relevance, strengthening click-through rates and driving more qualified traffic into the site. Rather than chasing impressions, the strategy focused on efficiency, ensuring spend was working harder at every stage of the funnel.
