We’re strong believers in the power of ideas to spark transformation, growth and connection. That’s why, when the opportunity to sponsor this year’s TEDxTeesside Women event came up, we knew it was something we just had to be a part of. TEDx, with its global reach and reputation for amplifying voices that inspire change, is a perfect match for our own mission: to empower individuals and businesses to reach new heights.

On October 16th, TEDxTeessideWomen will return to Middlesbrough Town Hall, and we couldn’t be more excited to play a part in bringing this event to life as Headline Sponsor.

For us, it’s not just about sponsorship—it’s about supporting a movement that aligns with our values of diversity, empowerment, and creating opportunities in the region. We believe that innovation and creativity don’t just happen in big cities like London or Manchester. Events like TEDxTeessideWomen show that powerful ideas can flourish anywhere.

As a Northeast-based SEO and Google Ads agency, we know much this area has to offer, and supporting an event of this calibre helps shine a spotlight on our community and the brilliant minds and businesses within it. TEDxTeessideWomen is more than just a day of talks; it’s a celebration of ideas, diversity, and connection.

And the lineup this year? It’s a goodie. From Chloe Laws, a freelance journalist and gender equality campaigner, to Millie Gooch, founder of the Sober Girl Society, to poet Ruby Dahl and entrepreneur Sharon Sinclair Williams, the event promises to cover a diverse and thought-provoking range of important topics. Attendees will engage with ideas on climate change, sustainability, ageing, intergenerational friendships, and more.

What’s truly special about TEDxTeessideWomen is the way it’s making such high-impact conversations accessible to our region. Middlesbrough doesn’t often get to host events of this magnitude, and that’s exactly why we wanted to be involved.

The organisers, led by the passionate Michaela Reaney, are doing an incredible job of ensuring that this event is actually for everyone. By distributing free tickets to local charities, schools, and community groups, TEDxTeessideWomen is making sure that as many voices as possible can be part of this transformative experience. It’s a genuine effort to build an inclusive community that spans far beyond the event itself.

Events like TEDxTeessideWomen remind us of the potential that exists when diverse voices come together to share their stories and ideas. And we’re thrilled to be playing a role in fostering that here in the Northeast. Whether you’re attending the event in person or watching from further afield, we’re sure it’s going to be a thought-provoking and inspiring event.

Tickets are still available for this year’s TEDxTeesside and you can find out more about the event here.  If you’re attending, make sure you say HI! A few of us will be in attendance on the day and we can’t wait to see what ideas will take flight at TEDxTeessideWomen 2024.

I was confident that if I just followed the “rules,” success would follow.  Fast forward to today, as I step […]
